Every couple of years we go to the Hawkesbury Show instead of the Sydney Show at Easter which is twice the cost and lots lots more crowded. We had a wonderful day wandering among the livestock, in fact we really loved the alpacas which we found can be raised as pets. They have to come in twos to keep each other company but maybe the backyard might be a bit small when they are an adult animal. Its hard to beat a bbq sausage on a roll with bbq sauce for lunch with the smells of animals and wood chopping about. John bought the Acoubra hat and looks just the part of a country farmer.
