Helen's 70th

We celebrated Helen's 70th on Saturday even though its not till tomorrow, at Vabys, on the corner of Stoney Creek and King Georges Roads. It was nice to get 11 of us together for 4 hours.

Monday was the beginning of the Writers Festival and went to The Mint building where author Peter Doyle spoke about his books on Crooks Like Us. It was on The Rocks, Culture & Heritage, non-fiction crime.

It rained very very heavily on Tuesday which meant John could not work as they are working on a roof, so we went to the movies. An Aussie movie - I Love You Too - It was funny and entertaining.

Today went to have another 45 min computer lesson at the Seniors Club and slowly am shown things I did not know. No lesson next week as its their AGM and as I am not an official club member do not have to attend.
