Afternoon tea

Afternoon tea here to celebrate Margaret's birthday.  Lovely afternoon.

Aberdeen

There was a four day event of the Aberdeen Highland Games and we drove up on the Saturday for the day.  It was a 268k trip each way.  We saw tug of war, pipe bands, sheaf tossing and many stalls advertising clans.  We have never seen so many kilts and the queue was too long to wait at the haggis and black pudding stand.

To get my confidence back in walking, but also to prewalk a little of my next walk from Wolli to Sans Souci, we went from Kyeemagh to Arncliffe on such a lovely day.  We ended with fish and chips by the beach watching planes taking off and landing.

Yesterday the gardening group - 10 - met here over a Tim Tam and a cup of  tea.

After the fiasco of receiving two left footed boots from the US, John now has got his black ones.  I don't think he needs any more!
An afternoon tea for Helen as it was her birthday during the week.  Our group is smaller as both Margaret and Shirley were not there.  A very nice afternoon.

One Man, Two Guvnors.  Francis Henshall desperately needs a job.  So why would he hesitate when two come his way?  But working for two employers proves tricky in this hilarious play.  A wonderful afternoon at the Sydney theatre and then a walk around the point to Circular Quay.  Thanks KJ for the best seats in the house.

Our first passionfruit was delicious and at $1 each in the shops makes it even better.  There's about another 30 to go on this new l year vine.
