I thought this was a great movie even though the reviews were poor.

A 10k walk from Lane Cove West to Rozelle today in wonderful weather.  At one of the parks John tried the flying fox and had a great ride.  The view from Fig Tree Bridge towards the city is lovely - can you see where I removed two electrical wires running across the photo?  As we got closed to Victoria Road, a number of streets had very old houses.  This oldie was lived in but you could see that the original shingles were damaged and needed repair. This a prewalk as am leading the group on Friday.

Lunch at Norma's to celebrate Margaret's birthday.  Nice afternoon.

I did two walks last week, one with a new group, also through U3A, who only walk once a month.  That walk was from Rose Bay to Watsons Bay along the Hermitage Foreshore going out to Vaucluse Point
and back to the pub for lunch at Watsons Bay.  That is Strickland House which is only open once a year by the Heritage Trust and the view from the back verandah is great.  The other walk was a bit longer and in all bushland out west in Baulkham Hills.  The winter weather was perfect for both days.
