After a hectic and hot week we looked forward to this long weekend. Sunday we sailed on the Southern Swan to Rose Bay and back, during which time, we had a BBQ lunch as we took in the lovely views. We celebrated Australia Day a day early to beat the crowds. Today we strolled down along the beach path from Ramsgate to Peter Deepena Park enjoying the sights. You wouldn't believe it, but I forgot my camera (in the car) both days. Only another 4 working days and I'm off work for 2 months, some of this time will be spent with Katrina who arrives next Sunday.

New Year's day 2009
Happy New Year everybody, we hope you have a happy and healthy 2009. Today we spent a couple of hours at Oak Park beach, eating our ham rolls with a cup of tea after John had a swim in the enclosed area sea pool. It doesn't look it, but the area had lots of people especially, children, enjoying the day.
